Terms & Conditions

Effective: July 10, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern services provided by Paper Chasers LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company (“Paper Chasers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), to the individual or entity requesting or receiving services (“client,” “you,” or “your”).

These Terms should be read together with any written quote, invoice, service agreement, email confirmation, text-message confirmation, work order, or other assignment-specific communication. Assignment-specific written terms control if they conflict with these general Terms.

IMPORTANT: Merely visiting this website does not create a service relationship. These Terms apply when you request services and accept a quote, authorize work, make payment, sign an agreement, electronically acknowledge applicable terms, or otherwise direct Paper Chasers LLC to begin providing services.
Plain-English summary: We confirm what work has been requested, what it is expected to cost, and what information is needed. You are responsible for giving us accurate information and lawful instructions. We provide professional administrative and litigation support, but we do not act as attorneys or guarantee outcomes.

1. Services

Paper Chasers LLC provides professional administrative and litigation support services, which may include:

Available services may change. We reserve the right to accept, decline, limit, suspend, or discontinue any assignment when reasonably necessary.

2. Service Area

Paper Chasers LLC is based in Appleton, Wisconsin, and primarily serves the Fox Valley, Northeast Wisconsin, and other Wisconsin communities where scheduling and scope permit.

Availability depends on location, timing, travel requirements, assignment type, safety, workload, third-party access, and other relevant circumstances.

3. Scope and Authorization

Services are provided according to the scope accepted for a particular assignment. Scope may be confirmed through a quote, invoice, service agreement, email, text message, intake form, or other written communication.

When reasonably practicable, we will seek approval before performing material work outside the confirmed scope. Minor or necessary actions reasonably related to completing the accepted assignment may be performed and billed where permitted by the applicable quote, invoice, or agreement.

4. No Legal Advice or Legal Representation

Paper Chasers LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, legal representation, or attorney services. No attorney-client relationship is created through this website, communications with Paper Chasers LLC, submission of documents, payment, or provision of services.

Administrative legal research, document support, forms assistance, and litigation support are provided only where permitted by law and do not substitute for advice from a licensed attorney.

Clients remain responsible for determining their legal rights, legal obligations, filing requirements, deadlines, strategies, and need for legal counsel.

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

Paper Chasers LLC may rely on information supplied by the client or authorized third parties without independently verifying every fact unless verification is expressly included in the accepted scope.

6. Process Service Assignments

Process service assignments are subject to the documents provided, applicable service rules, addresses supplied, information available, deadlines disclosed, safety considerations, and the number of attempts included in the confirmed scope.

Affidavits, declarations, attempt reports, or other documentation will reflect the information and observations available to the person performing the assignment.

7. Scheduling and Deadlines

Requested dates and deadlines are not accepted until confirmed by Paper Chasers LLC. Scheduling may depend on availability, location, document receipt, payment, third-party access, court or agency hours, weather, traffic, recipient availability, emergencies, and other circumstances.

We make reasonable efforts to perform accepted services within confirmed timeframes, but unless expressly guaranteed in a signed written agreement, timelines are estimates rather than guarantees.

Paper Chasers LLC is not responsible for delay caused by inaccurate information, late delivery of documents, client unavailability, court or agency operations, third parties, severe weather, transportation problems, emergencies, technical failures, or other circumstances reasonably outside our control.

8. Fees, Quotes, and Estimates

Fees may be flat-rate, hourly, task-based, attempt-based, location-based, or project-based. Pricing may depend on location, complexity, urgency, travel, document volume, number of recipients, number of attempts, research requirements, and other assignment-specific factors.

Unless expressly identified as fixed and complete, quotes and estimates are based on the information available when issued and may be revised when the scope, facts, instructions, costs, or circumstances change.

The applicable written quote, invoice, payment request, or service agreement controls assignment-specific pricing. Additional information is available on our Fees & Pricing page.

9. Deposits and Advance Payments

Paper Chasers LLC may require a deposit, retainer-like advance payment, or full payment before reserving time, traveling, beginning attempts, performing research, preparing documents, incurring costs, or otherwise starting work.

Advance payments will be applied as stated in the applicable quote, invoice, or agreement. Once time is reserved, work begins, travel occurs, or costs are incurred, some or all of an advance payment may become non-refundable.

10. Third-Party Costs and Expenses

Unless expressly included in writing, Paper Chasers LLC’s service fees do not include third-party or governmental expenses such as:

We may require advance payment of anticipated expenses.

11. Payment Terms

Payment is due according to the applicable quote, invoice, service agreement, or payment request. Unless otherwise stated in writing, payment may be required before work begins or upon receipt of an invoice.

Paper Chasers LLC may accept payment through Square, electronic invoice, card, cash, check, or another approved method. Available payment methods may vary.

Card or electronic payment transactions may include a separately disclosed processing or convenience fee where permitted by law and accepted before payment.

Paper Chasers LLC may suspend or decline additional work while an account is past due. Clients remain responsible for lawful collection costs or returned-payment charges when provided by written agreement or permitted by law.

12. Taxes

Applicable sales, use, or other taxes may be added when required by law. Tax treatment may depend on the particular service, transaction, or expense involved.

13. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Clients should communicate cancellations or scheduling changes as soon as possible.

Any assignment-specific cancellation or refund terms stated in a quote, invoice, or agreement control.

14. Confidentiality and Privacy

Paper Chasers LLC handles client information with discretion and uses reasonable administrative practices appropriate to the nature of the information and services involved.

Paper Chasers LLC does not provide attorney-client privilege. Communications with us may not receive the legal protections that apply to communications between a client and licensed attorney.

Information may be disclosed when:

Additional information appears in our Privacy Policy.

15. Electronic Communications

You authorize Paper Chasers LLC to communicate with you using the email address, telephone number, text-message number, or other contact method you provide.

Email and text messaging may not always be secure, immediate, or error-free. You should not transmit passwords, complete Social Security numbers, complete financial account numbers, or unnecessary sensitive information through ordinary email, text, or the website request form.

Electronic communications, approvals, acknowledgments, quotes, invoices, and records may be used to document the scope, authorization, and terms of an assignment.

16. Third-Party Services

Paper Chasers LLC may use third-party services for payment processing, forms, email, communications, shipping, records access, hosting, mapping, research, scheduling, or other operational needs.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, availability, and security practices. Paper Chasers LLC does not control every third-party platform and is not responsible for interruptions, errors, outages, data practices, or conduct outside our reasonable control.

17. Records and Work Product

Paper Chasers LLC may maintain business records relating to assignments, including communications, invoices, payment records, attempt notes, delivery information, affidavits, research notes, and copies of documents when reasonably necessary for operations, compliance, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.

Original client documents should not be provided unless specifically requested. Clients should maintain their own complete copies of all important records.

Internal templates, methods, systems, forms, research processes, and other preexisting business materials remain the property of Paper Chasers LLC unless otherwise agreed in writing.

18. Refusal or Discontinuation of Services

Paper Chasers LLC may refuse, suspend, or discontinue services when reasonably necessary, including when:

The client remains responsible for work performed and costs incurred before suspension or termination.

19. No Guarantee of Results

Paper Chasers LLC does not guarantee a specific legal, court, agency, business, service, title, investigative, delivery, collection, filing, or administrative outcome.

Results may depend on information supplied by the client, recipients, courts, attorneys, agencies, governmental bodies, vendors, witnesses, weather, technology, transportation, and other factors outside our control.

Fees compensate Paper Chasers LLC for accepted services, effort, time, travel, attempts, documentation, research, coordination, and expenses—not for a promised outcome.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by law, services are provided according to the accepted scope without any guarantee of a particular result. Paper Chasers LLC does not make warranties beyond those expressly stated in a signed written agreement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, duty, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Paper Chasers LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from an assignment, including claimed lost profits, lost opportunities, or losses caused by third parties or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Paper Chasers LLC’s aggregate liability arising from a specific assignment will not exceed the amount actually paid to Paper Chasers LLC for the specific services giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law and do not limit liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

22. Client Responsibility for Claims Caused by Client Conduct

To the extent permitted by law, the client is responsible for losses, claims, expenses, or liabilities caused by the client’s unlawful instructions, lack of authority, materially false information, misuse of services, infringement of another person’s rights, or breach of these Terms.

This provision does not require a client to protect Paper Chasers LLC from losses caused by Paper Chasers LLC’s own conduct where such responsibility cannot lawfully be shifted.

23. Complaints and Disputes

Clients are encouraged to promptly contact Paper Chasers LLC regarding concerns so that the matter may be reviewed and, when appropriate, addressed before it escalates.

A complaint should identify the assignment, relevant dates, the specific concern, and the requested resolution. Paper Chasers LLC may request supporting documents or additional information.

24. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and services provided by Paper Chasers LLC are governed by Wisconsin law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another law must apply.

Unless prohibited by law or otherwise agreed in writing, any court proceeding arising from services provided by Paper Chasers LLC shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction serving Outagamie County, Wisconsin.

25. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.

26. No Waiver

Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce that provision or another provision later. Any waiver must be clear and authorized by Paper Chasers LLC.

27. Assignment

Clients may not transfer an assignment, account, or contractual right to another person without approval from Paper Chasers LLC. Paper Chasers LLC may use employees, independent contractors, vendors, couriers, process servers, or other qualified service providers when appropriate to perform accepted services.

28. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the applicable quote, invoice, service agreement, written scope confirmation, and incorporated policies, constitute the agreement governing the particular assignment.

Statements not included in those materials do not modify the agreement unless confirmed in writing by an authorized representative of Paper Chasers LLC.

29. Changes to These Terms

Paper Chasers LLC may update these Terms prospectively. The effective date shown above identifies the current posted version.

Changes do not retroactively alter an assignment already governed by prior accepted written terms unless the parties agree otherwise or the change is required by law.
